How to Set Up L2TP/IPSec VPN on Swiss Layer Slug: setup-l2tp-vpn
L2TP is built-in on most devices.
Uses PSK: SwissLayerUWdu*#(d9#(DE*#DOI#KLLWKdxu
We've tested on Windows; mobile/macOS steps are standard.
Windows (Tested)
- Settings → Network → VPN → Add.
- Type: L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key.
- Server: vpn.swisslayer.com
- PSK: SwissLayerUWdu*#(d9#(DE*#DOI#KLLWKdxu
- Username: MYVPNHUB\username
- Password: From portal.
- Connect.
MacOS
- System Settings → Network → VPN → Add.
- Type: L2TP over IPSec.
- Server: vpn.swisslayer.com
- Account: MYVPNHUB\<YourClientID>
- Shared Secret: SwissLayerUWdu*#(d9#(DE*#DOI#KLLWKdxu
- Connect.
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- Settings → VPN → Add VPN Configuration.
- Type: L2TP.
- Description: Swiss Layer
- Server: vpn.swisslayer.com
- Account: MYVPNHUB\username
- ISA SecureID: not used
- Password: From portal.
- Secret: SwissLayerUWdu*#(d9#(DE*#DOI#KLLWKdxu
- Save → Toggle on.
Android
- Settings → Connections → VPN → Add.
- Type: L2TP/IPSec PSK.
- Name: Swiss Layer
- Server: vpn.swisslayer.com
- IPSec PSK: SwissLayerUWdu*#(d9#(DE*#DOI#KLLWKdxu
- Username: MYVPNHUB\<YourClientID>
- Save → Connect.
